Apex Magazine Store FAQ
Q. Do I need to sign up for an account before I can buy your products?
A. No sign in required. Just add titles to your, then click Proceed to Checkout. If you buy a subscription, you do have to create a store account in order to manage the subscription.
Q. What is your refund policy?
A. Customers have 30 days to request a refund. Email Jason Sizemore with your order number. Although not required, we would like to know the reason you want a refund so that we can further provide better customer satisfaction.
Q. Is my personal information safe?
A. Yes. Apex does not ask for or store any financial information. Credit cards are processed securely via our merchant account (Stripe) or payment gateways (PayPal, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay). We do store minimal information about you in order to fulfill your order (your name and email address, newsletter preferences, and shipping address if applicable) but this information is kept private.
Q. What about your newsletter?
A. We use Mailchimp as our newsletter service. Per the US CAN-SPAM act, every newsletter email sent to subscribers contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Our newsletter is mailed once every two weeks and contains major announcements related to Apex Magazine. Go here if you'd like to signup!
Q. Are your eBooks encrypted?
A. No. We sell DRM-free non-encrypted ebooks in PDF, epub, and mobi formats. All three versions come with your order via download links from our eBook library manager.
Q. What if I need a different format, such as LIT or RocketBook?
A. No problem. Email Jason Sizemore and we can attempt to do a free custom conversion for you.
Q. Where’s my eBook?
A. After you order, you will receive an automated email receipt. In this email will be links to your ordered digital books. Be careful, as you are allotted three downloads of each file. If you don't receive this email (be sure to check your spam folder in case it landed there), or for some reason the download links do not work, contact Jason Sizemore. Alternatively, if you have an account with us, you can access your order contents from your 'My Account' page.
Q. I misplaced/lost/deleted my eBook by mistake! Can I get another copy?
A. Yes. Email Jason Sizemore along with your original order number (if you have it... if not, we can probably find your order in our system).
Q. I downloaded an eBook, but I don't own a reading device such as a Kindle or Nook. How do I read it?
A. You can download these free programs so that you can read your books (ePub/mobi/PDF) on your computer:

Q. Can I get a refund on my Apex Magazine subscription?
A. Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing us at the address above. If you cancel outside of 30 days from date of order, you will be refunded your payment minus the issues you have received.
Q. The download links in my email are missing!
A. If you use a script-blocking plugin such as NoScript, please deactivate it before shopping as your download links may not display correctly.
