Before we say anything else, we want to thank you for all of your support. It means the world to us. We’re going to keep pushing to bring you more content and more ways to engage with Apex Magazine. We plenty in the works, so let’s get on with it.

First, we wanted to share that our sister company, Apex Books, is having their annual Women of Horror Month sale right now. Head over to apexbookcompany.com to pickup a variety of horror novels and collections written by women all discounted 30%.

We will have another workshop for our Patreon supporters in a couple of weeks, this time hosted by ourEditor-in-Chief, Jason Sizemore! There will be another announcement on Patreon with registration details later this week. There are more workshops being organized, too! We’ll be sure to update you all when those are finalized.

Apex Magazine is going to host a monthly micro-fiction contest (edited by Patreon manager McKenzie) on our Patreon page. Each month, the winner will be shared across the Apex-verse! We will also soon be providing additional details on how to enter and what to submit.

There are so many exciting things happening, and we don’t want to overwhelm you with a post that goes on for ages, so here’s a summary of what we have on the horizon: Issue 122 of Apex Magazine comes out on March 2nd, Jason and Lesley will be doing a “Coffee with the Editors” event, our Apex Magazine Discord community will be discussing this quarter’s featured book (Some Kind of Monster by Tim Waggoner), and our next featured book will be announced, as well!
