DeAnna Knippling

DeAnna Knippling

DeAnna Knippling is more analytical than a roomful of stoats and read too many classic ghost stories as a child; there have always been monsters under her bed. She grew up on a farm and has learned to take a great deal of butchery for granted: it isn’t about the blood; it’s about whether you laugh as the decapitated chicken runs around the yard. Her latest book, A Murder of Crows: Seventeen Tales of Monsters and the Macabre, contains no clowns. She used to slush for Apex Magazine and has been published in Crossed Genres, Penumbra, Three–Lobed Burning Eye, and more. She works as a freelance writer, editor, and designer, and you can read more of her ramblings at www.WonderlandPress.com.
