Apex Magazine Story of the Year 2016

January 2, 2017

A new year is here and so many of us are happy to have a fresh start, but before we close the book on 2016 once and for all we need you – the Apex Magazine readers – to select your favorite story from the past year!

Since 2012 we have opened up the polls and sent out the call, giving the readers the power to bestow one lucky author the title of Apex Magazine Story of the Year. Past winners include Katharine E.K. Duckett, Alethea Kontis, Brian Trent, Marie Vibbert, and Samuel Marzioli.

We published more than 30 original stories in 2016, so we know choosing just one would be nearly impossible. For that reason when you vote, you can select up to three stories. Voting will remain open until January 15th. On January 16th, we will announce the winner!

Use the form below to cast your vote! And be sure to vote in our Apex Magazine Cover of the Year poll as well!
