Lesley Conner is a writer and managing editor for Apex Magazine. She spends her days pestering book reviewers, proofreading, wrangling slush, doling out contracts, and chatting about books, writing, and anything else that crosses her mind on the @ApexBookCompany Twitter account. Most of her nights are spent with a good book and a glass of wine. Her alternative history horror novel, The Weight of Chains, was published by Sinister Grin Press. To discover all her secrets follow her on Twitter at @LesleyConner.

It’s that time of year again. Time to vote on your favorite original story published in the last year of Apex Magazine!

The last two years, you guys have chosen absolutely stunning winners, giving the prestige and bragging rights to Brian Trent in 2013, and Alethea Kontis and Katharine E.K. Duckett in 2012. Now, you get to do it again, choosing from all the amazing original stories that we published during 2014.

One vote per person, please. We will be throwing out any duplicate votes.

Voting will close at 11:59PM EST on Monday, January 19th. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, January 20th. Until then, have fun and may your favorite story win!
