Apex Magazine is a digital (online) magazine with a focus on publishing short fiction, interviews, and nonfiction exclusively in the scope of genre. We publish short stories filled with marrow and passion, works that are twisted, strange, and beautiful. Creations where secret places and dreams are put on display.

Apex Magazine exists in two forms: an every-other-month entire issue online over a two month period. Along with the genre short fiction, there are interviews with authors and nonfiction essays about current issues. Additionally, we produce a monthly podcast of narrated original short fiction.

We relaunched our website in late July after a year long hiatus so current traffic data is still being collected. We are sharing data as it is provided via Google Analytics.
